Scope of services

We provide professional translation services including but not limited to:

• General and specialized translations
• Certified and sworn translations (where applicable)
• Editing and proofreading
• Localization and transcreation

Translation process

a. Quote and order confirmation — Upon request, we provide a quote based on factors such as word count, language pair, subject matter, file format, and deadline. The order is confirmed only after we receive written acceptance of the quote and, when applicable, a deposit or full payment.

b. Deposit requirement — For large or complex projects, a deposit of up to 50% may be required prior to the commencement of work. The remaining balance will be due upon delivery or according to terms outlined in the quote.

c. Execution and quality — Translations are carried out by qualified professionals. We aim for accuracy and consistency, but stylistic preferences or ambiguous source content may influence outcomes.

d. Revisions — One round of revision is included, provided the request pertains to the original source material and is made within 7 days of delivery.

Sworn and certified translations

Sworn translations are handled by authorized translators, following the legal requirements of the destination country. It is your responsibility to verify the type of translation required and whether our certifications are accepted by the receiving institution.

Important: Once a sworn translation quote is accepted, no cancellations or refunds will be allowed due to the official nature and administrative procedures involved.

Pricing and payment

a. Pricing — Rates are calculated per word, per page, or hourly, based on the nature of the content. Minimum charges and rush fees may apply.

b. Payment terms:

• Individuals: Full payment may be required upfront.
• Businesses: Standard payment terms are 14 days from invoice unless otherwise agreed.

We accept bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods. Late payments may incur interest or service suspension.

Delivery

a. Timeline — We strive to meet agreed deadlines. However, delivery dates are indicative unless explicitly guaranteed in writing.

b. Method — Unless otherwise specified, final documents are delivered electronically. For sworn translations, hard copies can be mailed upon request, with associated shipping costs.

Confidentiality

All documents and communications are treated as confidential. We use secure systems and require confidentiality from all team members and collaborators. NDAs can be arranged upon request.

Limitation of liability

Verbavox Group is not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Delays due to unforeseen circumstances
• Errors in original documents
• Rejection of translations by third parties unless specific requirements were disclosed beforehand

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.

Amendments

Verbavox Group reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be published on our website. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any changes.
